Space is always a major concern for those storing items in a warehouse. No matter how many times you look at your inventory or slim down the items that you sell it seems like the quest for more space is never ending.
There are however some ways in which you can improve the space capacity of your warehouse.
Add another floor
If you have made the most of the floor space available to you, you might want to consider adding another level to the warehouse. This could be in the form of a mezzanine floor. This will give more space for storing items and perhaps office space if that is needed.
Shelving
There are numerous different shelving options available to you including pallets, Longspan and even mobile shelving. By making the most of the space in your warehouse, both in terms of floor space and that of the vertical height of your building you will be able to cater for all of the items that you want to store. Depending on the height of your shelving you may have to invest in some plant machinery such as forklifts and cherry pickers for you to be able to reach the items on the higher shelves.
