High-Impact Chute and Hopper Zones

Chute and Hopper Wear Surfaces subject to impact from dropping bulk material undergo rapid steel removal by subsequent abrasion. As opposed to harder wear faced materials, rubber is often a preferred wear liner for such high impact locations, as they absorb the initial shock of impact as opposed to trying to resist it.

For all of these materials it will generally prove more cost effective to line out key vulnerable areas of your plant rather than repeatedly replacing worn out steel.
